With the partial easing of restrictions in Wales, the church is planning some gradual changes as outlined below with Covid – secure restrictions in place in accordance with current Welsh Government Level 3 guidance. The rules on gathering allow attendance at a church but the rules state it must not be for a social purpose and it is important to ensure that individuals do not congregate at the entrance of a church before or after the service.
With regard to consumption of beverages etc., with the with the anticipated opening of indoor hospitality in pubs in Wales on 17th May, we will be reviewing all latest guidance and will update further if the serving of food and drink in churches is allowed to be resumed.
We ask that everyone coming to the church please act responsibly in observing these guidelines:-
Healing in the church
The church will now be open every Wednesday and Friday afternoons between 2 and 4 p.m. for Spiritual Healing. If you wish to attend the Wednesday afternoon session, you must book your place with Ralph Higgs on 01492 478132. And if you’d like to come to the Friday afternoon session, you should book with Alan Fowler on 01352 733444.
The following precautions will be in place when inside the building; hand sanitise on entering; contact details will be recorded for track and trace purposes; social distancing of 2 metres inside the church, hence the maximum number the church can accommodate is 14 individuals including the healers. Sorry, but more than this number cannot be admitted; face masks to be worn at all times; no food or drink to be consumed; hand sanitise on leaving.
Meditation evening
Angela Jones will be restarting her meditation evening every Thursday commencing on 27th May at 7:30 p.m. with doors open from 7 p.m.
the following precautions will strictly be in place when inside the building; To comply with the current social distancing measures, no more than 14 including Angela can attend. Therefore, if you are interested in attending, please note you will need to pre-book your place with Angela by texting her on 07889 951925 so that the allowable number in the church will not be exceeded; hand sanitise on entering; contact details will be recorded for track and trace purposes; wear face masks at all times; no food and drink to be consumed; hand sanitise on leaving.
Divine Services
Sunday Divine Services remain on hold at the moment. We are continuing to monitor the situation and if the Welsh Government moves to reduce the restrictions, a further announcement will be made. We will review the situation again in June.
